Our chef, Nikea Tunnell, was inspired to cook by her Southern grandmother at the young age of 11. She was raised in Greenville, South Carolina and went on to attend the Greenville College culinary arts program. In 2016 she opened a Southern fusion restaurant in Martinsville, VA with her husband. In 2018 life took an unexpected turn resulting in her relocating to the great state of Colorado. She has never looked back. Bringing her Southern flavors with her to the centennial state, some or her favorite dishes are inspired by Louisiana cajun. Her favorite dish to cook includes shrimp and grits, or her family recipe (famous) collard greens.
